I enjoyed Miriam's workshops. They were well-prepared and she made hard topics easy to follow. As a coach, during assignments, she is very patient, helpful and good at explaining concepts.
Iris Bune, Advanced Bootcamp
Miriam was my favourite teacher of the course. Her lessons were very enjoyable. Her way of teaching made the material quickly understandable and a lot of fun. She was very good at motivating us to experiment and play with new learned concepts. During the assignments, she took the time to help each individual student, which was something we all appreciated a lot. Having an interest in becoming a teacher myself, I found Miriam very inspiring and a great example.
Tjin Au Yeung, Advanced Bootcamp
It touches the basics of all the technologies involved in creating a Ruby on Rails site. From frontend (HTML and CSS) via the terminal and Object-Orientated-Programming to the backend (Ruby programming language, the Ruby on Rails framework and Github for version control managing). On the last day, there is fun Hackathon, where you get to show off your hacking skills and have to develop a working Rails site with a small team. This Bootcamp is a great kickstart for your coding career. And you can even start building a network (or expand an existing one) with people who like to share their knowledge and experience. Everything with very enthusiastic guidance from experts from their own field of knowledge. I'd say It's the biggest bang for your buck and I'm looking forward in joining them again for the intermediate course.
Menno Pelser, Beginner Bootcamp (Fall)
“You will learn a way of thinking and looking at things that is fun and fascinating. A programmer’s mind is a joy forever.”
